Vantage Design & Construction is not a typical construction company.
We offer many different services to suit your needs. Whether you are looking for a new home or a remodel, we can offer you a product unlike the rest. Each Vantage project is unique and requires a certain amount of time and thought before the building process can begin. From pre-construction and design meetings to on-site meetings, you will be involved every step of the way.
Concept
Taking the ideals, concepts and look of homes built 100 years ago and applying today’s technology to give the public a new line of homes that will outlast the competition.
Because our homes are built to last for generations, certain considerations are planned for that give you, the home owner, more options for expanding or changing the function of certain areas. This allows you to stay in the home you love as your family grows and your needs change.
A Vantage Design & Construction home is a more efficient home. Not only energy efficient, but we also achieve a more efficent floor plan. We design a space around its function, not its size. We use the latest technology and design to lower the construction cost and, at the same time, raise the quality of the home.
Our homes are designed to be efficient to both build and to maintain over time. A smaller and simple footprint is based on standard materials to minimize waste. Plumbing in the home is grouped in centralized locations to simplify plumbing installation and reduce consumption. The building envelope and construction details merge the latest technologies in building with common sense details that maximize the value of the environment, while minimizing the load they place on the mechanical systems. Every Vantage home is unique and utilizes different areas to maximize its potential.
Making your home new again. Our goal with any remodel or renovation is to give you that feeling of walking into a new home with only spending a fraction of the cost.
With any existing home, we will give you the new space you want with a budget you need. Our first step is to sit down and discuss what you want to accomplish. With that information we can decide what elements of the room can stay, what can be altered and what will be replaced. By keeping or reusing as much as possible, it helps the new space tie into the rest of the home and considerably lowers construction costs.
Most people in this economic state are not thinking of building or buying a new home. These people are more willing to make their current home feel new again by remodeling or updating certain gathering places within their home. Popular areas of remodels are kitchens, bathrooms, and outdoor areas.

Concept
Increasing the size and value of your home by bringing useable square footage outdoors. Why stay cooped up inside when you can extend the livable portion of your property by creating outdoor living spaces? Start your project by considering how you want to use the area. Once you find the function of the space, the design comes naturally.
Adding to your home's value is the right thing to do in any market. It positions you well for when the market improves and people start buying again. When the time is right to sell, having an outdoor living space makes your home more marketable than homes that do not.
Your new outdoor space can be as simple as a new deck or as large as an outdoor kitchen with a complete landscape package.
At Vantage Design & Construction we believe in helping people get into a home they can be proud of. If you choose to build a home yourself, we can help with that as well.
We offer building packages to help get you started and to aid you in the building process.
Your package will include the following
Beyond the initial package, we can be available for site visits, inspections and general meetings to resolve any issues that come up during construction.
The building package is a great way to save a significant amout of money. If you have a good understanding of construction, this may be the best option for you.
Vantage Design & Construction offers several different options for billing.
This is the old standard. The typical method of billing and payment by most residential contractors.
This method would include one dollar amount quoted by the Contractor and agreed upon by all parties. This is the final price, unless change orders are presented. This price is generated by several meetings with you to determine the specifications of your home.
The Cost plus / fixed fee process works in this way: we will sit down with you and go thru a detailed specification sheet. This covers all of the details that are needed during the building process and includes allowances on items that have not yet been decided on such as cabinets, carpet, and lighting. The specification sheet is then used to generate a cost estimate.
From here you have a good idea of what the project will cost. Invoices from subcontractors will be turned in to Vantage. They will be collected and approved, then turned over to you to pay. You then pay the subcontractors directly. Along with payment to the subcontractors you will pay Vantage Design & Construction a predetermined percentage of the bills collected in that period.
This method puts the control of the finances back in the hands of the homeowner. This allows you to see every penny that goes into your home.
TIME AND MATERIAL
This is a simple concept. You pay for the materails and services that go into your home plus the time required by Vantage Design & Construction. The payment of time is usually determined by an hourly rate. This method works very well for small projects without a lot of parties involved.
